Trinavarta taking Krishna into air,

Of Lord’s true weight unaware.

Rakshasas 14,000 attacking,

Knowledge of Rama’s prowess lacking.

Expanding into infinite space and beyond to see,

As Supersoul Lord inside of both you and me.

Adhokshaja thus name for Him befitting,

Both short and tall, small and large in Him sitting.

Since His adorable smile to see,

Elderly gopis happy as could be.

Not wanting gain or mystic perfection,

Or rebirth in spiritual world’s reflection.

Rather loving Krishna for His stealing,

His bartering for fruits to heart appealing.

From them meaning of liberation learn,

Towards service of Yashoda’s son turn.

Two sons of Kuvera emerged,

Who from righteousness had diverged.

Even with detailed study to take,

What of this troubling world to make?

Easy to renounce the inferior.

Sense control for human is meant,

Not time in animal activities spent.

But difficult when attachments there are,

Controlled mind destination seeming far.

Then of sinful desires to be clear.

From maya’s influence greatest shame,

That vision of attractive God not to gain.

So many other things not to see,

Like how others all equal to me.

Though living death eventually to come,

Experienced but keeping awareness none.

Through devotion nature of maya turn,

Into a benefit true enlightenment earn.

Since with defects is the mind,

Bewilderment of true nature to find.

Into disciplic succession must tap,

To avoid maya’s perpetual trap.

From teachers many tested already,

So with confidence on path remain steady.

In Kali’s age sampradayas coming four,

Lotus feet of Lord each to adore.

Monkey-like creatures who can talk,

Bridge of stones for across ocean to walk.

As mythology easy to consider,

But from source should reconsider.

In truth, with no desire to deceive,

Eyewitness accounts from them to receive.

Hanuman and Chaitanya enough authority,

To know of God’s nature with certainty.

From Lord Chaitanya understand,

That worshipable too is Krishna’s land.

Identity with Him the same,

Like with potency of holy name.

Also with food to Him offering,

Prasadam and devotees honoring.

Ways to connect so many there are,

No reason for Divine life to be far.

The Vaishnava, of Hinduism a sect.

Knowledge of identity as Brahman to own,

And its relationship to Supreme is known.

One God for everyone’s delight,

Into other forms like candle can alight.

Eventually in worship lacking motivation,

And in service never to see interruption.
