When hint of pride to be,

From Lord universal form to see.

For Yashoda twice was shown,

For Markandeya at end when all alone.

Kakabhushundi crow with Rama playing,

Within His stomach full creation displaying.

Not the end, still further to go,

Infinite service in liberation to know.

Krishna as king of Dvaraka to preside,

Ruling over with Rukmini by His side.

Marriage happened in most interesting way,

Lord kidnapping her on proposed wedding day.

Desired for herself just from features to hear,

Required not image to have devotion clear.

As goddess of fortune to brahmanas giving,

Like with Sudama and new palace living.

With over sixteen thousand wives to be,

How Supreme Lord Krishna is He?

God one who by nothing is bound,

In whom full freedom and enjoyment is found.

In madhurya, Krishna with flute to carry,

If wanting millions of wives can marry.

Surrendered souls He abandoning never,

Rescued queens accepting Him forever.

In extreme renunciation to live,

Mahadeva something better to give.

Than just benedictions many,

Having lasting value not any.

Ashutosha since easily pleased,

Can give away bhakti also with ease.

Showing example of marriage ideal,

Telling pastimes of Shri Rama real.

Advaita giving perspective one,

That difference to God and creation none.

All a oneness between living beings to see,

At the core not different are you and me.

Final word still not giving,

With duality also living.

Arjuna asking Lord which one is best,

Path of personalism by Krishna blessed.

From Him highest philosophy to gain,

Every viewpoint and religion to explain.

So that afterwards reservations without,

Encouraged to bring every concern and doubt.

Shri Krishna, even if following blind,

Through association purifying the mind.

Since looking out for interests mine,

Sometimes to deny requests in kind.

As spirit soul always to exist,

Should find occupation to persist.

Not from one gradually to tire,

Savings with eye to eventually retire.

Anantadeva having hoods of no end,

Since forever glories to God to send.

Still, for all others opportunity remains,

The impossible, with pleasure steady to gain.

Of Vishnu’s discrimination I know,

That sometimes to my requests to say “no.”

For visiting temple sacrifice in time to give,

Rather interested in how in enjoyment to live.

Envy of the Supreme Lord at the heart,

To lord it over mentality at the start.

Through bhakti itself everything cleared,

No more concern over that which previously feared.

Since of asuras the best,

Hiranyakashipu giving devotion’s test.

Though atheist in mind,

Praise through him to find.

Since protection from in so many ways gained,

Safe in air and land, to highest stature attained.

Everything lost through Narasimha adroit,

Supreme Lord smallest opening can exploit.

Since by sense demands overcome,

Asura experiencing peace of mind none.

Validated by theory of Vedas alone,

By examples of atheists shown.

Take Hiranyakashipu and Ravana too,

Who through demigods strength and power grew.

Never happy at all were they,

By God Himself everything taken away.
