Hanuman the path has set,

How highest benefit to get.

Beyond heavenly planets to go,

Devotion to remain forever so.

Example and helping taught,

Like with ring to Sita brought.

Power from inscribed name coming,

When chanted darkness then running.

For Sita’s suffering to end,

Good tidings from husband to send.

Like Hanuman carrying the ring,

Rescue here when names to sing.

To be in maya no more,

To lift consciousness for.

Be not skeptical of the length,

From that sound alone all strength.

Devotees in bhakti to remain,

Holding attachment to holy name.

Like in Ayodhya Rama the meaning,

No need for better life dreaming.

Happy all because Lord around,

From occupations top to down.

No taste in anything the rest,

Their path to follow the best.

Rama of such amazing treasure,

His value no way to measure.

For this reason Adhokshaja the name,

In comparison to Him none the same.

Saints of the past like bridge to make,

So safely across wretches like this to take.

How properly that gift to repay,
To glorify Him, no other way.

Reserved for a deserving ear,

From guardians only to hear.

Like Shiva with Parvati wife,

And Kakabhushundi life after life.

With sacred story Rama to see,

Fortune from Tulsidas came to me.

Writing in humble effort to repay,

Since saved from despair’s way.

In seeing it Arjuna not alone,

Virata-rupa also to others was shown.

Kakabhushundi one time to meet,

When Rama into mouth to eat.

Within childhood form to adore,

Saw everything and more.

Reserved for devotees the favor,

A cherished memory to savor.

Think of Rama during the day,

When in trouble His name to say.

Even during darkness of night,

In slumber the transcendental light.

To remember at every time,

Bringing joy to this heart of mine.

The same nowhere else found,

To His devotees in bhakti bound.

According to this time and that,

Follow Vedic rules exact.

Too much of a sinner am I,

For that route to try.

But one thing for certain known,

By Shri Rama’s boundless love shown.

That any effort, even simple made,

Highest benefit to worshiper paid.

Just to think of something kind,

Without speaking, only in mind.

Shri Rama, with smile pleased,

With loving disposition He sees.

The body type also to matter not,

Only if proper sentiment got.

So always with Him I’ll stay,

These words at His feet I lay.

Of great intellect deficient,

So how to glorify sufficient?

When even Lord Brahma can’t do,

And Shiva and Ananta Deva too.

But what other course is there?

Of sense pleasure futility aware.

No, on this bhakti path I’ll stay,

Always to Shri Rama to pray.
