Chastity of Sita always to know,

But wanting for entire world to show.

So at first not taking her back,

Maybe with Ravana now love to lack?

Rama with this emotion pretended,

So Vaidehi then fire pit ascended.

Most honor to the devotees giving,

Since for Him only living.

Company of a person just see,

Then know what kind is he.

Rama having servants the best,

A chaste wife to pass fire’s test.

Who to forest going to choose,

Opportunity for charity to use.

Not like any other kind of wife,

To that couple I dedicate my life.

Husband of Sita to me so dear,

Heart melting when His name to hear.

By any person, from any direction,

Remembering it life’s perfection.

Of traitorous nature immediately cured,

As next king his future assured.

Vibhishana, attachment to form and name,

Welcomed when to Rama’s side he came.

That not of Rakshasa nature clear,

Vibhishana to Rama became dear.

The past life in Lanka to forget,

In path to rescue Sita now set.

Endorsement from Shri Hanuman coming,

Vital part of army becoming.

Lord munificent and liberal in this way,

Blessed this tongue when His name to say.

Rakshasa belonging to other side,

On island of Lanka to reside.

Approaching the monkey camp now,

To respond to request asking how.

Monkeys Rama’s fortunes trying to save,

But Hanuman endorsement right away gave.

Vibhishana to the Lord’s army in this way came,

Vital instrument, next king of Lanka became.

So many years already stayed,

Why then to continue afraid?

Just what’s in the heart write,

In Rama’s infinite glories delight.

From Ramayana recount deeds amazing,

At beautiful deity of His be gazing.

Never wasted effort when something nice to say,

At His feet, the supreme shelter always stay.

Into this activity and that to swerve,

Since so many others to serve.

But for Rama this life is meant,

He by whom Hanuman was sent.

To Lanka and other places far,

With friends in night like shining star.

From troubles of this world take heed,

And follow always Hanuman’s lead.

At His door never to reject,

Even vile Rakshasa to accept.

When devotion genuine to be,

With transcendental eyes Rama to see.

Vibhishana away from brother to turn,

Shelter of beloved Lord to earn.

Surrender now and others forget,

Forever in service to Him be set.

Before monkey party set to leave,

And Sita’s whereabouts to retrieve.

Rama having to give one thing,

From His hand most sacred ring.

From it authenticity derived,

That for her rescue He strived.

Messenger Hanuman the chosen one,

With him best chance for work to be done.

God knowing always for job the best,

Standout star, shining above the rest.

In Vanara camp Hanuman alone,

To have chance to succeed it was known.

Sacred ring gave hero of Raghu’s fame,

Reminder to Sita, inscribed with His name.

Ramadutta blessed with him taking,

All hopes in him her husband staking.
