Shri Rama only one for me,

Persuaded towards others never to be.

Shri Hanuman the reason one,

By his devotion this heart was won.

Such a person nowhere else to find,

Firmly fixed Sita and Rama in mind.

The example for rest of humanity set,

Worship Rama for fruit of life to get.

Visit to brothers Hanuman made,

Friendship then instantly was made.

Initially by Sugriva was sent,

So to top of Rishyamukha went.

Wheels for Sita’s rescue set in motion,

Searching monkeys powered by devotion.

In over which person to worship doubt?

Just see Hanuman, hint of sin without.

Be not afraid, in my words trust,

That in this life bhakti a must.

To deliver bliss like no other,

Faulty is every path another.

Rama with power beyond measure,

His devotees always to treasure.

Though Sita temporarily gone,

On the case Hanuman was on.

Read Ramayana for confidence to restore,

That proper path God’s feet to adore.

By temporary setbacks be not bewildered,

Eventually justice to all delivered.

Ravana thought with crime got away,

Since in distant Lanka to stay.

Eventually Sita to Rama to return,

And evil ogres just punishment to earn.

Persuade me in this direction do you,

But my heart taken, what to do?

On side of beloved Rama I’ll stay,

By me known no other way.

By search for Sita in Ramayana heard,

Attachment to lotus feet stirred.

How for devotees any length to go,

Confident in bhakti, all else below.

World in turmoil, God unfair?

Of His sons and daughters not to care?

Take a look at Ramayana affair,

And punishment for Sita where.

But justice coming at time right,

Ravana to lose everything in sight.

When on side of Shri Rama to stay,

Proper outcome at end to display.

Kaikeyi’s vision coming with a cost,

Eventually wife Sita was lost.

Despair for Rama and Lakshmana making,

When Ravana to his kingdom taking.

In motion other plans then set,

Rakshasas fruit eventually to get.

Rama always fairness keeping in mind,

Justice served properly world to find.

If Rama’s real nature wanting to know,

To example of Sita Devi just go.

How happy without anything could be,

Forest as beautiful palace to see.

Since devoted firmly to husband’s feet,

To Him with a smile always to greet.

Please also in my home do stay,

Then happy you’ll make every day.

Of beautiful kingdom no need,

Wife Sita most happy indeed.

Since Shri Rama by her side,

No need in palace to reside.

Same sentiment thought in mind,

That anywhere in world happiness to find.

From hanging dearly to Lord’s holy name,

Like having His presence the same.

Of your tricky ways I know,

How on the righteous path to go.

So that then attracted I’ll be,

Pure goodness appealing to me.

Despite of this being aware,

Of the deception not to care.

No matter which way into this came,

Forever now to chant your name.
