For Hanuman – 45

No more to be a delay,

This finally to be the day.

Think of Hanuman now I will,

Repeating mantra, discipline to instill.

But after battling tasks of great might,

Too tired to practice at night.

These excuses immediately toss aside,

And innermost desires in Hanuman confide.

For Hanuman – 43

Hell not only brimstone and fire without fade,

Can also be where palaces of crystals inlaid.

With fare of fine wine and dark meat,

Concern only of how to sleep and eat.

To such a place Shri Hanuman went,

By Sugriva and Rama to find Sita was sent.

For such an order so tall,

Upon Hanuman they called.

For Hanuman – 40

Why have you a difficult time,

In keeping Shri Hanuman in mind?

Is not there so much for you,

Like Ramayana and works of Tulsidas too?

Of the temporary and miserable steer clear,

And remember he whom Rama holds so dear.

In whose hands the Lord’s ring was held,

And by whose might many Rakshasas felled.

For Hanuman – 38

Idol in pocket, tattoos on the back,

Plaything of those who knowledge do lack.

Of him true is everything you’ve heard,

Of devotion mighty, in resolve undeterred.

To dismiss him as mythology refuse,

Risk not his association to lose.

Chant his name, give up misconceptions bad,

That he’s there to teach devotion be always glad.

For Hanuman – 37

If think you bhakti only for the weak,

Example of Hanuman always keep.

Before Rama he remains humble and small,

In serving His interests always standing tall.

Fights off Rakshasas of immense strength,

Crosses ocean of insurmountable length.

Same strength in others he gives,

If in devotion to him they live.
