When image of Shri Rama eyes to meet,

Understanding His nature pleasant and sweet.

The best one to keep always in mind,

Since none in this world more kind.

But for weakness never mistake,

From arrow in hand destruction can make.

Like when to Ravana’s chest fired,

End of Rakshasa reign transpired.

That one Sita’s husband to call,

The most strong, no weakness at all.

This mistake by Ravana made,

For which he dearly paid.

Those assembled in Janaka’s court,

One by one to bow came forth.

Also the same of the Lord thought,

Shock to all when victory brought.

His greatness how to explain,

To Him no one close to the same.

In eyes compassion so easy to see,

Works for others’ welfare does He.

In Vedic principles behavior grounded,

By Sita and Lakshmana surrounded.

And Hanuman for Him to Lanka went,

In devotion to Him this life to be spent.

Not worried of slight or sin,

Supreme faith only in Him.

Of others surely you’ll tell,

How worship to do me well.

With your choice won’t interfere,

But for me only Rama most dear.

With Him always I’ll stay,

In each lifetime no other way.

In Ayodhya different people found,

Common that by love of Rama bound.

Not for oneself thinking,

Or into kama’s pit sinking.

How with my work happy He’ll be,

And His beautiful face always to see.

Attitude in my life should be the same,

No excuses not to chant His name.

How to reach final point exact,

When so many things to distract?

Sense gratification, here and there found,

In network of desires human being bound.

Shelter only from Shri Rama’s feet,

In bhakti true destiny to meet.

No excuse to say that I can’t,

Find way for holy names to chant.

Triumphant return, to ask what more?

Seeing the residents in jubilance adore.

By feet in bhakti’s path setting,

Fruit of an existence getting.

Their king, a formality though,

Fixed in their hearts residence so.

Boon that from then daily to see,

In comfort of bhakti anxieties free.

How much of Rama really to know,

Expanding are His glories ever so.

Servant Hanuman in devotion set,

Proper understanding from him to get.

How in dark age no other way,

Except holy names always to say.

For all desires to be met and more,

Husband of Sita with your life adore.

Though His coronation they saw,

Residents not totally in awe.

Since love to feel in the heart,

From each day’s end to start.

For His welfare always praying,

Highest mood of worship displaying.

Rama as king, but for everyone there,

Reciprocating their love and care.

Already in bhakti’s bliss to live,

What more to me can He give?

The Ramayana there to read,

Daily hunger for happiness to feed.

From interactions a secret to see,

That pleased most by devotion is He.

Not order supplying or in competition’s heat,

In urgent service life’s progression complete.
