Taking stock of wise and the dumb,
But Supreme Lord making distinction none.
Any person eligible His name to call,
Ready to accept service from them all.
Even without deep philosophy knowing,
At least with sincerity towards Him going.
Every fault and deficiency to be cured,
Success for devotees by Krishna assured.
Risky if to everyone deity shown,
When Lord’s true position not known.
Then improper understanding to share,
Others of deity’s potency not aware.
In reality Krishna any form can occupy,
When worshiping, better first to qualify.
Blemishes here and there, plenty to see,
But spotless original Vedic culture always to be.
So mired in material desires are you,
How from my experience to get through?
Jnana the knowledge theoretical,
Also vijnana, the practical.
The first to others I can give,
But the rest from experience to live.
Through devotional culture foundation setting,
Paving way for Krishna realization getting.
Why only the oddballs chanting to see,
Why not intelligent class to be?
Though losing in material life sign,
From that in proper consciousness to align.
Thus most fortunate are they,
Who quickly found bhakti’s way.
Should everyone blessed to so quickly taste,
Then time in material life no more to waste.
In vox populi to donor beholden politician,
Responsible for on positions vacillation.
To fix country vote for them you must,
But once in office quickly to break the trust.
Acharya the one by example leading,
In every action on right path proceeding.
Not making false promises abound,
Revealing Absolute Truth through sound.
Like a dog the guru to live,
Loyalty in service to God to give.
Owner of dog seeing behavior bad,
Knowing love, never can get mad.
Understanding the loyalty of the pet,
So in compassion standing always set.
With Shri Krishna attitude the same,
So pleased with those chanting His name.
When attempt in material life to make,
Against bhakti, great risk to take.
To turn back not guaranteed then,
Unknown when to feel inspired again.
Better to continue forward even though,
Impurities or weakness of heart so.
With attention to duty progress to come,
In the highest stage having duties none.
Whether quickly or into slowly easing,
Shri Krishna the one most worth pleasing.
Caring not from where we came,
Only that in devotional life we remain.
Though Gajendra only when in desperation,
Still Vishnu arrived for crocodile’s separation.
Causeless mercy from Supreme Lord flowing,
For any soul, for to supreme destination going.
With this gifted intelligence of mine,
Where in most worthwhile use of time?
When of Him just a little to know,
To proceed towards highest realm so.
Of Shri Krishna, Supreme Lord we speak,
Despite limitations, His mercy just seek.
Help to you directly giving,
Your shortcomings quickly forgiving.
Yajna for Vishnu another name,
Sacrifice in His honor thus to Him the same.
For proper yajna to see,
Distribution of food should be.
Prasadam, the Lord’s mercy bestowing,
Benefit to all who partake going.
In ignorance otherwise effort is known,
Since no respect for Lord is shown.
